Deirdre was commissioned by Australia Post in 2013 to paint the flowering shrubs of Christmas Island, a region where the plant life is unique because of its geographical location. Her paintings will be exhibited in Sydney and Canberra to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Gallipoli landings on ANZAC Day.
